Abstract: Pattern mining is important task in data mining process. Pattern mining focuses on identifying rules that define specific patterns within the data. Data mining is a process of discovering interesting knowledge from large amounts of data. Frequent item set mean a set of items that appear frequently together in a transaction data set is a frequent itemset. In this frequent item set mining is widely used in data mining technique. Frequently item set in which items may weight differently. The proposed work has been finding frequent item set retrieve the frequent data from database. The resultant data is the infrequent data retrieved all infrequently data from database. In this Paper provide two algorithms to get the infrequent data. Infrequent weighted item set miner (IWI) and Minimal infrequent weighted item set miner (MIWI). By applying these algorithms for mining infrequent patterns which are basis for future research in the field of pattern mining.

A Three Phase Power Conversion Based on Single Phase and PV System Using Cockcraft-Walton Voltage
R. Balaji, V. Karthick, J. Anitha Thulasi | pp: 46-50 | Download Paper | Show Abstract

Abstract: The three phase induction motor is operated from distributed system and PV system through the Cockcroft – Walton voltage multiplier (CWVM) without using step-up transformer. Initially single phase is given, when a power failure occurs load can automatically runs at the same three phase power using renewable resource solar. The power is converted and inverted to produce three phase voltage and it is feed on to the three phase induction motor. The proposed converter is quite suitable for applying low-input dc voltage and to produces high dc output. It provides continuous input current to load with low voltage and current ripple and also reduces the leakage current in efficient way. Voltage stress on the all switching device, diodes, and capacitors are lower than that of all other types. The structure of the proposed converter is very simple. A three phase inverter to convert the DC voltage to three phase AC voltage using a Space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) technique. It can produce a pure sinusoidal waveform compare to other techniques.

Automated Control System Design for Ultra Supercritical Thermal Power
P. Kiruthika, P. Navaseelan, L. Senthilnathan | pp: 51-56 | Download Paper | Show Abstract

Abstract: The work taken up for this paper is the implementation of process automation using DCS for Ultra Supercritical thermal power plant. Coal has been the king in the global electric power production and will continue to serve in this role in the future. Worldwide energy and electricity consumption is projected to grow at an average annual rate of 2‐2.5% between now and 2025 caused by increase of population (up to 7.5 billion) and increase of consumption (mainly of China and India).Hence, by increasing the efficiency of existing power plants, using clean technologies and adoption of ultrasupercritical boiler, wherever cost effective and otherwise suitable is preferred. The Gross plant efficiency is around 41‐42% for ultra‐supercritical units with steam parameters of 28MPa/975k, which is about 3‐4% higher than that of the supercritical units. The control of large scale ultra-super critical power plant is very complicated and highly nonlinear because it involves the measurement and control of number of parameters in order to increase the overall plant efficiency by Optimizing the combustion process, increasing the steam parameters, reducing the condenser pressure and improving the internal efficiency of the steam turbines. Thus, Monitoring and control system such as DCS/SCADA are responsible for managing critical infrastructures operating in these environment. The control of various components such as once through boiler parts super heater (temperature, pressure, flow), reheater (temperature, pressure, flow), economizer (temperature, pressure and flow), air Preheater (temperature), burners (air/fuel ratio) and turbine operating conditions is implemented using the CENTUM CS 3000 of Yokogawa India ltd.

High- Efficiency Transformer less Interleaved Boost DC-DC Converter for High-Power PEM Fuel Cell Application
A.Ganesan, V.Balaji | pp: 57-59 | Download Paper | Show Abstract

Abstract: In this research work a novel transformer less interleaved boost dc-dc converter for a fuel cell application is proposed. In this paper a fuel cell with a electric application, of a high power boost dc-dc converter is adopted to adjust the output voltage, current and power of fuel cell to meet requirements. The challenge in designing a boost converter for high power application is how to handle the high current at the input side and it has high switching loss. In this work an interleaved boost dc-dc converter is proposed with the absence of transformer. This converter reduces the fuel ripple current. Since the fuel cells are costly, an equivalent electrical circuit is implemented instead of a fuel cell.

M. Divya Devi, R. Lakshmi | pp: 60-64 | Download Paper | Show Abstract

Abstract: In this paper, a dynamic model of a vehicle driveline with an automatic transmission is built up and implemented in the Graphical programming language, LabVIEW. The transmission model is built in a modular way to facilitate reuse and make the model well-arranged. The model has been developed from an existing model that describes the driveline of a vehicle with manual transmission. The purpose of this project is to develop an Automatic Transmission controller model that can be used to simulate clutch engagement and Gear shifting of a driveline. This paper proposes a solution by presenting the result and methodology of implementing smooth gear shifting control and Jerk-free automatic clutch engagement and disengagement of a common four wheeled vehicle using NI lab VIEW compact RIO (NI CRIO) with enough GUI. With add-on facilities, this Automatic Transmission controller model can be used as a system design support tool, which provides highly sophisticated simulation environment in mere future.

Abstract: Wheelchairs are a way of reincarnating the purpose of life in the lives of disabled people. Instead of using joystick controlled wheelchair, the wheelchair can be embed a with instrumented glove along with voice recognition system. In this we designed a cost-effective wheelchair for the person who having major disabilities. The user wearing an instrumented glove embedded with flex sensor for controlling the movement and direction of the wheelchair and can also give voice instructions to by using smart phone or an tablet installed in wheel chair which take instructions and pass it to embedded control of wheel chair. RF wireless communication exists between the glove and controller which is sandwiched between user seat and wheels. We include an obstacle sensor it performs that if any object is detected in the path, it will halt the operation. Therefore the wheelchair comes to be in standstill. . In addition to this we have introduced navigation map which will guide the user for direction along with an alarm button which on pressed in emergency will send SMS to the person’s relatives about persons present location via GSM and GPRS system. With this wheel chair person can have a complete and safe journey.
